Hi , I think only a few in this group might remember me from the late 90's. My name is Lynn and my husband Mike was diagnosed with PSC at that time. Mike had a growth in a somewhat precarious position that had been biopsied and the results negative. At that point we should have had that growth removed, however we were so elated about the results that never crossed our minds. Unfortunately in time it became cancerous and inoperable because of it's location and size. I haven't been up to date on advances in treating this disease over the years so I may be speaking out of ignorance, but if the doctors know where the growth may be, could they not remove it?

I know all too well how devastating it is to hear that some one you love is removed from the transplant list. When that news came we immediately chose to look for other means to deal with our situation.

Lynn in MD.
