Guest guest
a- Im new to this sight but I do not see you failing. I see making this decision a sucess! It takes alot of research, commitment, desire and love for yourself to reach the point you have! I only hope that your husband can understand this. My father died three years ago from having complications with gastric bypass reduction. He was over 450 pounds, could barley walk due to breathing, joints, horrible numbing circulation in his feet, could not stand longer than 15 minutes, could not hold his grandchildren for fear of dropping them, really high blood pressure and took twelve pills a day. he also had sleep apnia and lived with oxygen. He was on disability - this from a very strong working man, it was devistating to him. Unfortunatly, it took seven years of dilapitating illnesses for the doctors to recommend this to him. Since that day I have researched as best I could. Had my father had the talent and experience that I see Here from doctor Rutledge, Im sure he would still be alive today. (Sorry to ramble) I guess my point is, He made a fantastic decision for himself and his family, to give himself the chance to live again! No regrets! Unfortunatly his obesity had progress to far, and the choice was made to late. Have your husband consider what the long term side effects are from obesity, mabye he will reconsider and support you. Good Luck cassandra P.S. My father was only 55 when he passed away
Guest guest
Hi all, Yes, I can see that Xenical is really a powerful drug. So,...... what does a person do to lose weight if appetite isn't an issue? I've tried so many different things. Question....Have any of you called 1-800-DOCTORS to find a sympathetic doctor? There is no guarantee that we will be here past October so getting a PCP seems futile. By the time I get all the stuff in, insurance approval, it will be October or later. Oh, don't mind me. I'm just acting childish. Guess what? There is a co-worker for my hubby who works in Raliegh and is begging hubby to give him a resume. They need him down there. Now wouldn't that be totally convenient??? Anyway, I have been researching this for over a year now. Wow! How time flies. I have come to the conclusion that my two stumbling blocks, well three, is the PCP, hubby support and admiting I have failed. Oh well.... things will work out. There I go again, sorting that laundry.
