Guest guest
When your world as you knew it ends, your feelings are of gut wrenching sadness and an irreplaceable emptyness. Your days pass quickly in comparrison to the quiet nights. Although you hurting is ever present, it will lesson with time. You'll never forget, as it should be, but the tenderness will slowly disapate Don't issolate yourself. Let those who love you help you. They will help you cope and hold you up. I know I'm a new person to the present group, but I to have lost a husband to PSC..... July of 2000 after 34 years of marriage. My wish for you is peace, happiness and memories. Guest guest
Thank you to all of you who have sent comforting prayers at my loss. Though we are never fully prepared to lose a loved one I am comforted by his last words of love to me. I am hoping my loss will eventually benefit someone in the future as I have donated my husbands remains to the Humanities Life Registry. He is now at the Hershey Medical Center for the medical students/researchers to hopefully learn more about PSC/UC. We are having a memorial service for him this Sat eve and I will have donation forms available for those wishing to to donate to Partners Seeking a Cure in his memory. Since it will be at least 2 years before I will get his cremated remains back from the medical center, a new item available from funeral homes is an item called a Thumbie. They take an impression of his thumbprint and then put it on a medallion which can be worn as a pendant or on a charm bracelet. Thank you again for all your words of comfort.
