Guest guest
Same here (although a decade earlier!) - and I do enjoy a beer now and then. Most parents where I grew up were not averse to giving kids a sip of beer now and then (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!). When my wife was a pharmacy tech, she was appalled at the number of prescriptions for kids (Ritalin, Atteral, Strattera, etc.). I have no practical experience, but it appears to be easier to medicate than deal with them. My apologies if I've offended (again, I have no experience). Guest guest
Arne, You certainly have not offended me...cant speak for those with kids in our group...or others. I was given shot glasses of beer when I was a kid, at times (Christmas, Thanksgiving etc..), I come from a family of brewers though, it was also common in Polish German families. The Japanese give their kids sweet sake (has a lot of rice debris in it which make it cloudy). Usually when they are tearing around the house before bed if they dont settle down. I dont have any problems with adults on any meds (I just cant tolerate some medications, they make me psychotic). I would not turn down a trial of Enbrel or Remicade if the VA offered it to me. Rambling here...
