Guest guest
If this has happened twice separated by a week and only after taking Fosamax, you may be having a mild allergic reaction to the drug. Sometimes this kind of reaction slowly lessens. Sometimes it gets worse. Only you know how bad these reactions were. I would suggests consulting the doctor who prescribed the medication and ask them their opinion on whether taking another dose is worthwhile. There are at least 5 other options instead of this particular drug to help your bones. Some are similar drugs, others are a totally different class and type of drug. With osteopenia pre-tx I would suggest that you need something to get your bones in better shape before you have a tx. And before you have a fracture.
