Guest guest
We have had a lot of very sad news lately. I know that my little joy can't take away the pain of the families suffering losses, but I wanted to share a joy. For the first time in several years, my liver enzymes are essentially normal. I started URSO, remicade, and 6MP in the last couple of months. I guess it has made a huge difference for me. My urine looks normal (instead of like iced tea) and my joints aren't hurting. The itching is under control. And the icing on the cake is that I recently started a job 30 minutes away from home. My last job involved a 90 minute commute. My thoughts and prayers are with the grieving families. megan
Guest guest
Me too! I am very sorry to hear of our recent losses as well. These are some very strong people. I am still lurking pretty much every day. Learning more and more each time I visit. I have had my third ERCP in February. I don't know what he did, but it worked. I think I have the biggest stent available now. Still another MRCP showed no dialation of the main billary ducts. I feel great! Haven't felt this good in over 10 months. Very little jaundice, just in my eyes (they are bloodshot 24/7), but my enzymes are pretty much normal. Still on revolving antibotics and high dose Ursidol. Urine good, fatigue good, ammonia good. Next trip to the Transplant Center coming in April. I haven't had a pain pill since early February. I do get a sharp pain reminder every once in a while, but haven't had the never ending dull/sharp ache. Mentally, I needed this. The baby is enough work alone and I am back working with a vengence at my new office. Prayers help and you guys are always in mine and my family's.
