May, You have to order the Oxy-view from

the company. Your own optician can tell you what size to order.

Go the the website...oxyview.com and they will

send you the literature.

When you get them, you'll find that there are clip on sunglasses that

work just fine. i love

wearing mine . They really hide most of the tubing and they look rather

stylish.

I hope there is a way for you to get them way over there !.

the pain out of my fingers. at least we are both still at

going to get myself a portable concentrate and ive been thinking

of those oxyview glasses. i sent an email asking if they

have a uk distributor. wish they had some stylish sunglasses.

i didn't know you had a pair too.

i assume the inserts that enter the nose

are disposable and bought from them too.

i think i'd prefer to try them on my face

first but i can't so there you go. glad

to hear you like them.

May, I love my Oxy-views. Yes, all the

needed gear is ordered through them too.

They aren't cheap...$250.00 US..but they give me back my face! NO

tubing on my face and only the litttle

cannula things in the nose which are almost invisible.

I hope you can get the info so that you can see what I mean about size .

There are several styles as well.

I'm going to try to get an optometrist to look and see if they think

they can make them work with my prescription since mine is so extreme.

The problem is the size and the design. But, hopefully. Gwynne wore them

and they looked great.

Bruce, My optician used the lightest

lenses.. very thin plastic.

The frames are still way heavier than my regular very light metal

frames, but to just have one thing hooked on my ears

and nothing on my face is worth the extra weight on my nose. I've been

wearing glasses for 61 years

so I'm used to weight being on my nose anyway.

The company suggests that the lightest lenses be used.

Do you have the literature for the Oxy-views?

They have to be purchased from the company..there is no other way to

get them.

There are several styles and sizes available.

Yes, I have the information. Problem is my lenses are extremely thick

and still thick even in thinest lenses available.

Hi May,

I think I am going to say no to the methotextrate. It just doesn't seem worth the side effects- although a small part of me thought, hmmm chemo, I could be skinny again! I am trying to exercise more and have started doing yoga stretches in the afternoon. Having to use more oxygen is suddenly a big motivating push to quit eating pie and all the other goodies. You seem to be as busy with little ones as I am. Aren't they fun? I am taking two of my grandkids to see a 3D movie today. I haven't been to one since I was a kid and watched the 13 ghosts with my sister. At the end of the movie the announcer said if we took our 3D glasses home we could see "creatures from the afterworld in our own homes." My sister and I wore our glasses to bed for about a week desperately hoping to see a ghost and at the same time, scared to death that we would!

denise

you made me laugh re weight loss and chemo.

i'm glad you have decided against the methotextrate.

you and geeta look lovely in your photo. i finally

got a look. you figure looks fine to me. what's your

bmi?

what prompted you to try to drop the pred level? i thought

you were on a maintenance dose and were into a workable

routine with it.

i have been collecting my bros' kids from school and have

had a heavy cold. i am so glad its friday. today whilst

collecting them i was stopped by the police and charged with

driving without a seat belt. i will have a fixed penalty of

30.gbp. i was on an 800yard journey. i am very bad at

forgetting to put on my seat belt but feel very aggrieved as

i was not even on a main road. it has been one of those days

for me today. i made a casserole and burned my fingers on the

handles and have been sitting with my fingers in a pot of water.

i will be so glad when its time to go to bed and put today

behind me. hahahaha.
