Guest guest
First, I want to explain that my sister has ALS (a terminal incurable illness) and her husband has stage IV melanoma. Today there was a fundraiser for them and it was such a huge success that the BBQ company ran out of BBQ and we had to get BBQ from another BBQ place. It had great media coverage from the local paper and the local news here is the link the local news story: http://www.wbtv.com/news/topstories/6796597.html This was the first time I have seen my sister happy in quite a while. The reporters got some of the details wrong like (her symptoms started in May but she was not diagnosed until Jan of this year the story said she was diagnosed in May). It also says that this was being done by Glen's neighbors when it was his coworkers not his neigbors. That was the first part of my wonderful day. The rest of the wonderful day was that it was my daughter's 5th birthday and for her birthday present she was a Jr. Lady Cat and danced in front of thousands of people at the Charlotte Bobcat's game. She did such a good job - I was so proud of her. You were suppose to be 6 to participate although they allowed some 5 year olds who had been taking dance for a while but she just turned 5 today so she was the youngest girl out there (there were 120 girls) and when they did the practice clinic last week she was still 4. I know this is off topic but with everything that has been going on with my family's health including feeling worse with his PSC it is nice to have a really great day! Regards, Nichole (wife of PSC & UC 08/04)
