I was prescribed Noritate. When i first got it, it was a god-send. Cleared

me almost completely. However, I found that if i used it daily, the benefits

were no longer there. As I mentioned before, I feel that my skin became

tolerant to it. Now, i just use it for flare ups.. a couple times a month at

most and its beneficial for me when I use it like that.

I apologize for posting so frequently, it is just that I feel like I am

making progress and have become excited. I never liked to use Noritate

because I felt that it was irritating me somehow. Metrogel/lotion once

turned my face a purple color. I have read through the list highlights, but

still do not understand the processes of compounding and how I would go

about doing so and with what. Has anyone had success with Noritate, and is

it generally recommended?

Respectfully,

,

I had problems with Metrolotion too. My face was flaming red, almost

purple. But the cream works well for me, at least for the acne-like

pumps. I think partly, I needed more moisture which I get from the

cream. I put it on slightly damp skin.

MetroLotion has mineral oil in it which may be a problem for some.

I found the metrolotion really pore-clogging (probably from the mineral oil

Matija suggests below). My derm put me on the metrogel, and I haven't had a

problem with this clogging me up and it seems pretty light. I haven't had

any experience with the cream.
