Guest guest
OK - have to get my licks in here ) Arne (If you don't get the pictures, go to http://www.myrabo.com/recipes/norwegian_pancakes.htm) Norwegian Pancakes The problem with this recipe was getting Grandma to tell me what she was doing. Her typical response was "You just put in flour, milk, sugar and eggs in and beat it until it looks right!" 4 eggs beaten slightly 2 c milk 2 c or more flour (see what I mean?) ½ tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 2 Tbs melted butter Mix above with egg beater. Batter must be runny so that the batter will cover the frying pan and make paper thin pancakes. Lift frying pan and tilt it so batter covers entire pan. Fry until light brown. Serve with butter and sugar (or fruit and whipped cream, if you must!). Makes about 8 pancakes.
