Recently diagnosed with Chiari and retroflexed odontoid. My worse

symptom is dysethetic pain; burning between shoulder blades and when

really bad all over my skin,so bad that my clothes hurt to wear,

tingling, pins and needles and buzzing. Ive read that these types of

symptoms often do not respond well to surgery - I was wondering if

anyone out there has had surgey with these symptoms and how these

symptoms responded to it, if at all? What makes it tolerable at the

moment is 15-20 mg of Paxil but without that I am climbing the walls.

I am new to the board but already have had so much good advice -

thankyou to all who responded to my first post, Jo.
