Guest guest
, I appreciated your talk and the power point graphics becuase it showed advancement of understanding. I didn't understand all of it, but it was much better than a talk given later that characterized PSC as an " indolent disease. " I wanted to shout " BALONEY " (Slang. foolishness; nonsense.)but the speaker was such a kind gentleman and I could tell that he was trying to comfort those that found the diagnosis overwhelming. The definition of Indolent is: " Pathology. causing little or no pain; inactive or relatively benign " While it is true that PSC can be asymptomatic for several years when diagnosed early on, this information gives little understanding of the disease. I would rather learn more about the disease, even if complicated, than to be comforted with meaningless information. Von
