wow, I live in northern nsw aswell!

i just had my lung biopsy last week at tweed hospital, they did the

three holes and took out a couple/few pieces!

I just saw this site on friday after searching because of my diagnosis.

I am a member of the myositis association aust, and soon to be the

american one too, as I have polymyositis!

are you in a support group? as i did a search and saw there is one in

tweed heads?

Well isn't that fabby fantastic....we're virtually NEIGHBOURS..I live in Lismore & am part of the Lung Support Group there. I know another lady from Tweed with IPF..she's part of the Bosentan Trial being conducted through Dr Hopkins at Prince Cahrles Hospital, Chermside, Brisvegas.

I'm not eligible for that Trial 'cos of my unclear VATS report...nor would you be I imagine, for the same reason & your other autoimmune problems.

It's a while since I last had a phone chat with n but we were trying to organise meeting up for lunch in Bangaslow sometime.

I do come up to Tweed to visit in-laws but am always to tied up with them to do lunch up there!

Well at last I don't have to be envious of the ease with which our US mates manage to get togather & have 'Happenings'

No excuse for us, we're well within easy reach of each other!

i probably start my cytoxan infusions at hospital next week?
