Guest guest
This is cross-posted to the SACSG. But I promised the manager I'd get the word out: Yes, it's true. Two weeks ago I was in Plaza Liquors looking for a gift wine. When the manager asked if there was anything else I needed, I said " Yeah, do you have any gluten- free beer? " He said he was just asked about that a few seconds ago. So he introduced me to a college aged man. This guy said he too was a celiac. So I gave both a lesson on the three domestic gluten-free beers. The manager took the info, and my number. I didn't get a call back, so I figured that was the end of it. I stopped by there again today after work, and saw the manager. I asked if he had any luck with the gluten-free beer. To my surprise, he said that he had indeed gotten a gluten-free beer. It just arrived today! So I bought a six pack, and promised I'd get the word out. If you haven't tried a gluten-free beer, Bard's Tale Dragon Gold reminds me a lot of a regular Sam , though not as hoppy. I really enjoy this beer compared to the honey passover beer. So the next time you're in the mid-town area, stop by Plaza Liquors and get some Bard's Tale beer. You can buy them individually, or more. He's offering them for $2.10/each. Considering I paid $12.00/six pack for the same beer in California (the home state of this beer), it's not outrageous for being a gluten-free beer. Plaza Liquors is located on , north of Grant on the east side of the street.

Guest guest
For everyone else, check out Bards website. They have started shipping beer again this May, and their website has a list of stores where you can get it. Harrington's in Chelmsford MA is where I called, they didn't have any but 2 cases were coming in that had already been spoken for. I am ordering some tomorrow. $12 a six pack is steep, but occasionally it would be nice to take to a party. > > This is cross-posted to the SACSG.
