Guest guest
Karin, I don't know the elevation of the Grand Canyon, but I would suppose it is considerably higher than say, Kansas. If it is a high elevation, the air would be thinner, and that may be responsible for your SATS dropping. I'm no expert at this, but I'm sure there are others in the group who can give you a more definitive answer. Jack79/IPF - UIP/dx06/05 Maine My Day to JACK I am basically like you Jack , but I went to the Grand Canyon this week and I could not do a thing. If I walked out to look at a scenic view my sats dropped to high 70 low 80's. I was so disappointed as my Dr never told me . I couldnt walk around as planned. I am back in Phoenix and my stats are fine. I had trouble on the plane as well, as long as I was sitting no problem , I went to the bathroom and sat dropped in low 80's. I will be complaining next timw I see him. This was my 50 years friendship trip with my best girl friends from 3rd grade.
