Now it has to be downloaded, which means one has to save it to disk and virus scan it before opening it (it did come up clean). Ron

Guest guest
Thanks for the tip. I have done exactly that. If you would like you could put your answers in the database that I have set up OR you could email the results back. Thanks. amy > > > Date: 2006/01/26 Thu AM 11:26:58 EST > To: diabetes > Subject: Re: Please Help > >

Guest guest
I need advice before I go insane. I was transplanted on 12/25/2004 and on Tuesday I was diagnosied with reoccurent PSC. The doctor said on a scale of mild to severe, it was moderate. I had been feeling fine and about two weeks ago my liver enzymes went way up. they did a PTC and a liver biopsy and found the disease to be back. My question is, since I am a tranplant receipant already, does that make my chances of survival shorter the second time around?

Depending on how your new liver reacts with the PSC you may not even need another transplant. I face problems too. I was transplanted on 10/15/2005 and my liver enzymes sky rocketed 3 weeks ago. I have had 2 ultra sounds and with 3 techs working on me they finally found my hepatic artery which is just barely flowing. I still havent been officially told what all this will entail but i have a liver biopsy scheduled next wednesday. It seems when you just start getting better something bad pops up and we have a new battle to fight. hillbillybob psc 96 uc 04 olt 05 __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I have a question for you? Do you have a roux-y when you have your transplant and before transplant were you stented to keep ducts open? My husband has had transplant in 2005, and worry about his coming back. Just wonder how they manage it when it does come back. THanks Tina Please help I need advice before I go insane. I was transplanted on 12/25/2004 and on Tuesday I was diagnosied with reoccurent PSC. Guest guest
They can no longer dilate the duct via ERCP. They do a PTC, which is done externally. Typically the PTC needs to be changed about every 6 weeks to avoid infection. I had my PTC for over a year before my second transplant. > > I have a question for you?
