Guest guest
Sue, Nice way to spend your anniversary! We plan on finding kiddie things to do on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday, since we'll have our 2 kids with us. How old are your boys? My kids are boy 7 and girl 6. Hubby will have his hands full in the hospital waiting area! I always wondered if cutting out the Diet Coke would actually help to lose weight, you answered that question! That's great hubby gets to fly free and you did get a great price. We did " priceline.com " and got a $226 R/T for each of us. I'll find out from my insurance plan if it's cheaper to fill the prescriptions here in TX or wait until I'm in NC. We're originally from the Northeast (New Jersey). My mother's family is from outside Boston also (NE of Boston)! See you and everyone else on the 15th! Can't wait! Bern > Hi Bernardine! I will be at the clinic (15th) at 9am. I figured later in the day, my husband & I could do some sightseeing since we've never been to NC! Plus, our 13th Anniv. is this Tues. (11th) so we are making the 2 days before surgery a sort of Anniv. present to each other! I may splurge on a few things. I too have been having alot of beef lately. We don't eat it much in the winter time, but come spring/summer, we get the grill out & then we tend to eat alot of steaks, etc. I had the most awesome Rib Eye Friday night at Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse. Mouth watering!!! I used to drink alot of diet Coke, but have weaned off of it almost completely in the past 2 years & switched to water in my quest to lose weight & it still didn't help! > > I have purchased all that I can for supplements & will pack some in baggies to bring with me. These cannisters of Citrucel and Whey Protein would be too bulky to pack in a suitcase. I usually get my prescriptions at Walmart & from what I hear there is one down there, so I will wait & have dear hubby get those for me. We are flying down. The drive is a little over 17 hours which I didn't look forward to. My husband is an air traffic controller so he flys for free. He has to sit up with the pilots because it is supposed to be a learning experience. I actually just made the cutoff in buying my ticket before the 2 week deadline. It only cost me $174 round trip! If I went to buy one now, it would be about $450!!! What a difference a couple weeks makes! We are staying at the Comfort Inn Suites because Homewood was booked. Plus we wanted a place that had an exercise room in it. We also rented a car. Yup, the bills are adding up, but I told my husband that I'm worth it! My 2 boys are staying with my Mom & Sister/Bro-in-Law in Mass. Just south of Boston. I grew up here & moved to Maine with my husband just 6 months after we got married due to his job. > > To & Ann MGB(18th) we'll see you at clinic!!!!!!!!!!!! > > Sue (Maine) > MGB 4/17/00 > > >
