Ursodiol and itching/Tammy

Hi Tammy;

One of the reported major side effects of ursodiol is " severe itching " :

When our son started itching (a few months after starting on ursodiol),

we wondered whether this was the cause? However, a prescription of

rifampin took care of this, and he was able to stay on high-dose

ursodiol. This would be something to bring up with Chad's doctors.

lot. if he only takes it once a day, he doesn't itch as much. isn't
