Guest guest Posted October 8, 2008 Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 good morning everyone,really not much in the way of good news yetI had a chest x-ray done just before my last round of chemothe doc's wanted to see if the chemo was helping to shrink the tumor it has not , but I will have a ct scan done just before my next round of chemowhich is on monday oct.20th and with that ct they will really get a good look I have had three rounds of chemo so far and have gotten sicker with each onethe first day after im ok but the next five after that are pretty bad, but I managemistie has been pretty busy looking for a job and has some good prospectsshe needs to go back to work so we can get by with all the bills in the eventthat I can no longer work elizabeth is doing great she talks a lot now even though you can't make out all the words she is saying , she watches "elmo goes on the potty" over and over and we got her a little elmo potty chair and she does sit on it, but she is afraidof it when you take off her pants . well that is about all that's going on here at the moment ..not much excitement still reading all of your post's and I will try harder to chime in when I cantake care everyone Brett Bowser 40 MI.familial UIP/IPF 11/07 stage 4 lung cancer 7/08 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We'll just keep praying that the tumor does shrink with a little more time. I can imagine it's an upset for your little family to have Mistie looking for work...be out of the home and away from that sweet baby. Bills are always a huge worry.
