I went 3 times a week for about 3 months. I started to feel a real difference after about 2 weeks. After that I started going twice a week. By doing this I was able to go to Germany on vacation for 3 weeks without treatment without any problems. When I got back I started a schedule where I would go on Monday and Friday one week and then Wednesday the following week. My acupuncture practitioner focused on sights that stimulated the liver. She also helped me alot with the nausea. Since my belly was already quite tender she kept the needles to my hands, arms, feet, and legs. Pat (CA) J wrote: I went to acupuncture practitoner yesterday. I printed off the PSC leaflet for him to read, glad I did as he did not know about PSC. I was pleased when he told me he could help with the symptoms of fatigue. He asked me to ask others who have had acupuncture for PSC, with fatigue the main symptom, what the course of treatment was. He thinks that it may be 2 treatments per week for the next 4 weeks, then perhaps a visit a month, but was interested what other scheduals people had. I am not sure if I feel any different, but as he said it may take up to 3 visits to feel the effects.I mentioned that I had slight nausea, so he also treating that.thanks from the bottom of the world in New Zealand, who feels reasonabily healthy, just
