update has been extremely busy. I'm out of the hospital now, and have internet access, so I'll be able to post myself now!Anyhow, I'm feeling really well. Already much better than pretransplant. I was in the hospital for exactly one week, just about down to the the minute. Right now the doctors are still adjusting my meds a bit, but other than that things are going about as well as they possibly could. They actually almost let me out friday, but then my blood work came back just slightly worse, so they rushed me around to ultrasounds and liver biopsies and diagnosed a very mild case of rejection. They seem to have that under control now, so they let me go!I will have a detailed message with everything about the transplant in it, but for now I'll just say that I'm doing really well. The Nurses and doctors all seem to think that things are going as well as possible. I know that things could change, and I

probably will have some setbacks but I'm feeling pretty confident that they can be dealt with, and my doctors feel the same. Speaking of doctors, the doctors here at Vandy have just been awesome! They have really gone the extra mile to make sure I got the care I needed, I even got pushed around the hospital in a wheelchair by one of the transplant team doctors so I could get the ultrasound to check on the blood flow to my liver quickly!I'm just so thankful right now to everyone who has helped with this! You guys have been great with all your encouragement, and knowing that all of you here thinking about me and wishing me well, and praying for me has been just wonderful. I've had so much support from every side... from my church, from my family, from friends, from you guys, and from hundreds of people I don't even know!Anyway, I know this post is somewhat unlike my usual style! :-) I'll post again
