Guest guest
He all, Thought I would let you know. The insurance called me and told me that they were going to approve for the evaluation of my liver. So I called the Dr and they said that they had called and told them that the " case worker " had approved for me to be evaluated but wasn't sure if the insurance was going to still pay due to Pre-existing condition. I just got insurance again in September and was without for more than a year. My insurance company states that if I haven't had insurance for 1 year they won't cover it. Once the year is up, they will cover it. So, please pray that all will go well and that will pay. If not, then I have to wait till September to see the Transplant team. I have waited 10 years, guess I can wait a few more months, just don't want to.
Guest guest
-----Original Message----- My insurance company states that if I haven't had insurance for 1 year they won't cover it. Just my 2 cents – get the approval in writing from your insurance company. Evaluation costs start at $30,000 – $60,000. Not something you would want to pay for out of pocket, especially if you can wait awhile and have them help. Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight, Whatever it Takes!
