I had this done, but don't even know what it is exactly! No time for questions I guess... J. Hi , I believe that it means the patch you had places in your dura (membrane surrounding your brain) is tissue from around a cow's heart. As peri means around, cardi means heart, and bovine means cow. Ok, hope this helped, take care.
