Guest guest
Just a bit of a happy note... Just got the mail and Soc Sec has continued my SSDI. It only took about 8-9 months for this review as to whether I was still disabled or not. And they just said they would review my file " from time to time " . Now just waiting to here from UCLA. This helps to make up for such painful days and unbearable nights lately. Guest guest
IN response to the SSDI questions...I filled out had all the paperwork that they sent me. I then made sure that the SSDI office sent all the forms to the doctors ..I then called each office and spoke to the medical office manage.to make sure that the forms were seen by the docs. I had been advised by friends that the office managers were your best friends in getting covered. I submitted my paperwork, never went to an office, never saw any other doctor beside my own. I never had an interview! I wrote a long letter to explain my situation because the questions on the forms did not apply to me (that was suggested by the woman on the Phone from SS) I made copies of everything. I received notice that I was covered about 6 weeks after all the paperwork went in...and it was retroactive to 6 months after I filled I applied for SSDI in January of 06...the 1st check covered from June of 05 to December 05....I became eligible for Medicare as of Dec. 07 I have been told that PA is good about SSDI and I'm so thankful for that. If not, then oxygen, other conditions, all play a role. You were right going with your oxygen and not looking your best. I don't encourage people to fake anything but don't look so healthy like some of us can do. If you frequently cough, make sure you do so. If you get out of breath, make sure that shows. We do have the problem of sometimes appearing much more healthy than we are. On the paperwork list all doctors and all conditions, not just the primary one causing the disability. Take letters from doctors as well as complete medical files. One of their biggest problems is slow response from doctor's offices. The danger to you of infection in work environments is important. This and your condition plays into the number of days in a year if forced to work you would have to miss. Make sure they know the tremendous effort it was you just making it there. Best to know that you had to have someone drive you or assistance getting there. There are many times in our lives we put on a happy face and look much better than we are. This isn't the time for that. > > > > > > > > From: toadwizard <toadwizard@ ...> > > > > Subject: Tank Filler > > > > To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. com > > > > Date: Tuesday, November 18, 2008, 6:52 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Does anyone have one of these or know anything about them ? > > > > DEVILBISS I-FILL OXYGEN TANK REFILL SYSTEM > > > > > > > > > > No virus found in this incoming message.
