Hi Everyone who reads this message board...I had a stent placement in 2002 in Atlanta Georgia...Something told me it was still in.....I went back to the doctor who put the stent in. He told me that the x rays show it's out and the cat scan...I went back 4 more times and he would shove pills at me, saying things that were off the wall....I then went to another doctor in that practice...And that got me no where...I went to see a Doctor here near my home, nothing...I went to Emory in Oct of 2006 and told a female head of Emory GI Department that I thought my stent was in!...She saw all my other ERCP

reports and x rays where it was placed...By my history she should have known I was NOT a text book case...She ordered 6 tubes of blood and an MRCP with contrast....While I was in this wonderful MRI ( I say that because it was a really up to date machine ) getting my films taken.. I could hear another man ( Doctor, Maybe Radiologist ?) ) on the phone..And I thought why do I think he maybe talking about me?.???.The tech came and helped me up ..I noticed she would not look at me? Odd I think...Then I say the doctor put me on pancreatic enzymes..I said that just to see what her response would be....She said right away finally looking up at me," Oh, that is good!!"...I thought well they found the stent...I go back to the dept. head for follow up and have the intern reads me the results of my MRCP...It was the oddest report I've ever heard/seen...It just say

findings normal...And Ms Department head says to me," I don't need to see you anymore"...I said what?..I even told her that I had pain the last two weeks of taking the enzymes.. She looked at me like my head twisted around in the air...She says," Well the enzymes don't cause pain ..Like I was lying?..I gave her a Look..Where I come from the GI sees you esp. when they put you on medications...I've seen about four doctors one 4 or 5 times for a stent...I called Mayo clinic in ville Fla. the GI department..And asked have they ever seen anyone who had xrays that said their stent was out when it is in...She acted very shocked and said NO right away..Another dead end... I wasn't going to waste my time driving 6 hours being that I don't feel good, to be told

nothing!!..I'd say Dr. Gores really needs to see what is going on there......So I had a conversation with Ms in Ohio by phone about three years ago...She was expecting her second baby...I called to see who she had used as doctors and she was so happy with hers near my hometown in Ohio...I emailed her two weeks ago to tell her I finally felt my stent move and needed another ERCP...Was she happy with her doctor and still with him?...She emailed back right away and said yes.!!..Gave me the number he is really good with the ERCP tube etc...Thats my guy... I want a man who is good with an ERCP Tube!!!I could not get anywhere with the doctors office at

Emory!!! I can't see another doctor there, Why ?? Dept Head policy , Her policy..( I call it covering your butt policy )..And they are all scared of her.You can tell on the phone ....Her staff whispers to tell you something about her..... and get this I see the interns making faces when she is not looking..I feel like I'm in the land of Oz.....LOL..She will be out of the office for a week as well..In the mean time I'm sick and the stent is sticking me everywhere, but in the butt!!!Good thing I'm on pain meds...So today even though I don't want to drive 14 hours to Ohio...I will be doing so to see Dr. Willi...His nurse understood everything I said and she told me he is good!!!!..I won't get in until June 11th I Thank You and my stent thanks you!!!... in Georgia from Ohio..PS Do you think I'm the longest record holderon holding onto a stent?
