Guest guest
Dark urine is a classic symptom of bile duct obstruction and cholangitis. When your liver is not processing waste properly, the kidneys attempt to pick up the difference, resulting in dark urine. Complete bile duct blockage will result in very dark, coffee or cola colored urine, accompanied by pale stools. Many people experience fever, chills, vomiting and upper right quadrant pain during cholangitis episodes.
