Guest guest
" ...And isn't it for just such moments that we go through with a liver transplant? " Rich... Jim ( & I) would in unison say: YES! ABSOLUTELY!!! POSITIVELY!!!!! ABSITIVELYPOSILUTELY!!!!!!! Hi Maureen: Beth's degree is in advertising, with a minor in Spanish. She plans to move to Denver in late June, where her brother lives. She'll do some marketing work for him (he's about to leave his job with Accenture and go out on his own with his Website-development business) while she looks for full-time, longer-term employment. Both my kids are career-oriented right now, so grandkids are most likely a ways down the road. But it will be good to have them both in the same city, and Denver is a relatively cheap flight from KC. With all the new photos added to this site recently, I finally figured out how to get some of my own photos down to the proper size so they could be posted here. They're in a new album, under the name " KC Rich. " The first photo is from Beth's graduation two weeks ago. The second and third are pre-transplant photos. The first, from 1999, shows my significant weight loss and muscle wasting. The second, taken just a couple weeks before my transplants in May 2001, reveals the major edema and ascites issues I was dealing with.
