" I finally got the filter placed and back to my room around 7:00 p.m. I had

to lay flat due to risk of bleeding until 9:00, I'm now able to get up. The

procedure was uneventful, thank God.

I'm hoping to be able to leave here tomorrow on a low dose of coumadin. I'm

curious to see what happens with my INR, now. It took 4 bags of plasma and a

bag of vitamin K to get it from 5.9 to 1.4. Interesting.

and Steve made it home safely and are ready to travel back if/when

CCF calls with a liver. Things have been so strange I can't even begin to

guess how any of this will go!

I contacted GHP and officially stated that I want CCF to be my primary and I

explained why. My insurance coordinator told me she understood completely

and that she would make the change. Yeah! I also have a friend that swears

he will help me to what needs to be done to bring ' poor behavior to

light. I'm counting on it! I just can't let it all go. I've been fortunate

enough to have the wherewithall to advocate for myself, but we all know some

people aren't able to do that and those people stand a good chance of dying.

That's totally unexceptable and I have to do this in hopes of protecting

others! It's amazing what all they've put me through and since I've been

here I've gotten lots of confirmation about that!

Well, I'm going to go get some rest. I will update when I can.
