Guest guest
Peggy, Great to hear that you are doing so well! My Dad had Alzheimer's and I know what my mom went through. The hardest was getting her to realize that she could no longer take care of my dad. Good Luck. > > Hi all, > I just had my first year checkup in Indianapolis this past Thurs. the 21st and all was good. In fact Dr. Kwo released me to Dr. Trotter, my hep. in Denver. I have never had even one episode of rejection and am feel so much better. I really never thought I'd ever feel this good again! I'm praising the Lord for my new health. I'm still in IN until tomorrow the 26th visiting w/ my sister with whom I lived last summer. I'm feeling like I am physically ready to care for my husband, Jim, who has Alzheimer's, when the time comes he needs total care. Of course I probably won't be mentally or emotionally ready for a long time! He's doing well for now, but I know the time will come when I'll be a full-time care-taker. > > > > Peggy McG > dx UC - 1989 > dx PSC - 1990 > listed 2/01 > > --------------------------------- > Looking for a deal?
