Thank you all for the support, prayers and wishes for a successful

transplant and speedy recovery. I am now home. I enjoyed the quiet of

a night uninterrupted by vital signs and tests for blood sugar. Left

the hospital at 7 pm last night after a final doppler ultrasound of

the liver and its connections showed everything flowing in the right

direction and no problems noted. I almost thought that I would be

spending another night in hospital it took so long to get the US

scheduled. Around noon someone (an intern I think) was assigned the

task, so at 2:30 I was wheeled down to radiology for the the test that

would spring me out of there.

Now to catch up on the 260 messages waiting and get in lots of rest

and recovery. I'll post a full account later, but first I'm going to

get a morning walk in while it is still cool.

Tim,

Welcome home! I'm so glad everything went so well and so smoothly for you!

Especially since it was the second time around! Best wishes to you for

continued success with this new liver!
