Guest guest
Your right, it does contain grapefruit juice, and since we just took the transplant education class last week, it is vivid in my mind, no grapefruit of any kind. Fresca does contain concentrated grapefruit juice, >>> , That's too bad. I love grapefruit. My hep has recommended I go forward with tx and will start the evaluation process in mid July. Is eating shellfish also a no-no? Guest guest
Barby, You can still eat shell fish. There is something in grapefruit juice that binds with the prograf and neoral(anti rejection drugs) that causes the body to not absorb it properly. Good luck with your evaluation! > , > That's too bad. I love grapefruit. My hep has recommended I go forward with tx and will start the evaluation process in mid July.
