Guest guest
Ken still isn't responding. We had hoped the dialysis would make a big difference in his level of consciousness, but it hasn't - yet. They were able to drain quite a bit of fluid off of him, so I'm sure that makes him feel more comfortable. They are giving him plenty of antibiotics, and took a culture to see if they can find out if he has an infection and if so, what kind. His ammonia level is high, so they gave him lactulose. I expect by tomorrow morning, he'll be much better. I'm spending the night with Ken...... Thanks TJ for the lap top, I'd go crazy without it!! Guest guest
This is upsetting me so much. I keep praying for him and checking for news.I feel a deep anger that anyone should need to go through this and I feel an urgencyto push for better treatment for PSC.We simply must get to a place where we can avoid the need for transplants. In the meantime, I pray and I wish, I hope, and I work on raising research funds.LeeKen still isn't responding.
