Guest guest
Again my son is going for another procedure. Again I sit at this computer knowning that there are others who know exactly how I feel. was dx at age 15 with PSC. He is now 30 we have gone through some really scary times in the past. Not long ago he suffered from ascites, and unfortunately through a miscommunication among his m.d.s medication was prescribed that caused him to have a toxic result. He was in a state of complete confusion as a result and it took three days before they figured out what was causing it and made the necessary corrections. He's had his lungs aspirated, and generally fluctuates from feeling " normal " to feeling really ill. I just needed to vent a bit. You see I cannot sit through the procedures so my husband goes with him. I wait until the results and then feel I can speak with some degree of knowledge - thanks to the information I have accumulated through this group. This ERCP is being done to check on a nodule found in his liver, through MRI. They are also considering a stent. We'll see. Thanks for being here God Bless all of us who take this illness and not let it stop us from LIFE.
