Guest guest Posted November 5, 2008 Report Share Posted November 5, 2008 then in addition to health issues, the plan that I chose to supplement medicare is not accepted at U of P the select advantage gold plan has been discontinued, they were going to put me on select advantage silver--neither plan is U of P does not have a contract with either plan even though they are Blue Cross so I have to select a different plan now I have to decide between Personal Choice and HMO I never had an HMO questions i need answered: if i am under care with a pulmonary doc, do i still need a referral from primary doc every time i go to pulmonary doc/transplant doc? will primary doc charge me for referrals? i don't know how it works will primary doc mail referral or do i have to pick it up? will have to make some phone calls--ask primary doc about referral policy I see him next Monday thanks for listening has anyone done fundraising for transplant?
