Guest guest
Hi Yaks! I was referred to a Gastro, and before I get an appt. he wants blood work done. He wants me to have: Anti-tissue transglutaminase (tTGA) (P-T-O) <-- (as marked, don't know what it is.) Immunoglobulins IgA, IgG, IgM ® I have been off gluten for over four years, except the occasional accident. I was never tested, but it runs in the family, and once I was off gluten and GOT BETTER!!!, I didn't want to go through with all the testing. So, will that affect the results? Should I go ahead, or would it be a waste of my time? I refuse to eat gluten, I won't put myself through that hell again. (I'm sure you KWIM!! Thanks for any help. ~Adeena
