Guest guest
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and experiences! Your kind words and helpful attitudes just warm my heart. I can't tell you enough how grateful I am to have you here. Thank you Thank you Thank you! Arne and , I read the articles you sent and will bring them to Dr. Flamm's. Owen had a colonoscopy in May and the GI doc was surprised to find no evidence of U/C at this time. She did biopsies and said that he is showing no changes, even on the cellular level. I guess I should consider ourselves lucky on this one point, and know that it could change in the future. The Vit A deficiency aspect is interesting. I have to mention that to Flamm. Also, I am going to buy Owen some LiquiTears... it certainly sounds like it can't hurt to keep his eyes from drying out. You guys are a wealth of information. Thank you! See what's free at AOL.com. Guest guest
Hi, I just saw this posting and I can relate to the dry eye problem. I hadn't seen the prior posting relating to this one, if there was one, so I don't know if I missed anything. I've had dry eyes for about 4 years now and just have to run to the rest room all the time and splash cold water on my eyes to refresh them. Eye docs have said that it could be allergies, but it's all year round, so I disagree with them. Could that be related to PSC? > > Thank you all so much for your thoughts and experiences! There are articles about eye problems and PSC, and also how other members are coping with dry eyes. There's alot of possibilities to consider. One member is using Restasis drops, one is using LiquiTears, one has stopped wearing contacts. I hope that you find a helpful solution too.
