Guest guest
Hello Trevor and welcome to the group. My name is . I was diagnosed with PSC in 97 then UC in 98 then colon cancer called MALToma in 99, but have had health problems since I was a child. It was really rough for awhile and was told I needed a transplant soon after being diagnosed, but due to personal reasons wasn't going to receive it. That was probably the hardest part. It was a group like this one that helped me to hang in there when I felt I had no hope. After the bio therapy they gave for the cancer my liver started improving and I'm doing well with my liver. Almost all of my labs have returned to normal. Have you ever considered taking supplements to help with whatever symptoms your experiencing? I've heard that probiotics are good for the entire digestive system perhaps they might help your gall bladder? I know probiotics have helped my UC. I'm in what seems like complete remission from the disease. It was once really bad, but once I started using probiotics I was able to get off all the medications and all my colonoscopies since show an almost normal colon. Sincerely, Trevor wrote: Greetings, this is my first time using a yahoo group, so hopefully I'm doing this right. My name is Trevor, and I was diagnosed with PSC in August '06. I've been experiencing some symptoms lately, and an MRCP and CT scan on Thursday showed that my gall bladder was distended, so now I'm on antibiotics for 10 days. If the antibiotics don't seem to help then I expect I will have an ERCP. My mother has been a part of this group since I was diagnosed, so you may have heard about me already. I believe her username is inkywretch. I have already gotten a lot of very helpful information through her, so I'm sure that being a part of the group will be good for me. " Thank you! " to all of you in advance.
