Guest guest
I should clarify, this is usually inside the air conditioned house, not out in the hot Georgia sun! It seems like I am always cold even when I am not running a fever. Is this noraml with PSC? Does it mean the disease is progressing? Just wanted to see what is typical for everyone else. Guest guest
It seems like I am always cold even when I am not running a fever.>>> This summer I have been cold nearly continuously which isn't the norm for me. Not sure if it relates to psc but in June my hep said he wasn't able to dilate my ducts anymore and has referred me to the tx center. The chills I have now are somewhat different than when I have a fever. Sorry I'm not much help. Guest guest
Dear Zach, You might find that you are a bit anemic. This happens with PSC especially if you are developing other problems such as Chronic Kidney failure. Good Luck. I hope that helps. Mr. Itch Does anyone out there have chills all the time everyday? Guest guest
The last year or so before my transplant I increasingly got colder, even when the temp was pretty warm. I ended up wearing several layers of clothing almost all the time, and still feeling cold in spite of not having a fever. Since my transplant, I'm not cold anymore, and even though it's warm now, think I will be warmer even in the winter than I was before my transplant... So I think it definitely could be a PSC thing, although I never did figure out specifically what caused it. It just seemed that my metabolism was slowing down or something... athan
Guest guest
I've always been cold indoors when the A/C is on--long before my PSC was ever diagnosed. I just thought that was normal. On a hot day, if I'm sitting in the shade and there's no humidity, I'll be cold as well. So when I'm in an air conditioned place for extended periods (i.e., work) I make certain to bring a sweat shirt or sweater. I don't care if my coworkers look funny at me--it's better than shivering all day.
Guest guest
I get cold a lot when in air conditioning. I ALWAYS carry a sweater with me and usually wears long sleeves. When the sun is out I usually head outside and soak up the sun because it feels so good. Also, getting into the car on a hot day after it has been sitting in the sun and I've just come out of a store, restaurant, etc. Feelings heavenly. Guest guest
As a note, yes my nine year old is always cold. but, he also has ulcerative colitis. Normally, he is colder with chills when his hemiglobins drop but even when they are close to normal, he tends to wear sweaters/sweatshirts all the time even in summer... , Tyler (9) and McKenna (5) OStos " Wilkinson " " Wilkinson " Sent by: 07/10/2007 08:14 AM Please respond to To cc Subject Re: Does anyone out there have chills all the time everyday?
