Guest guest
Pink Joyce i met with Dr. Ahya and he helped pull me through a tough time. I live in Jersey. But born and raised in philly so always a philly person lol. I go to temple, this week going for my annual testing to stay on the list. id 1 day last week and this week its 3 days in a row.. They generally wipe me out. But i am very lucky. Just tired. I am 56; started with raynaud's around 89 and had extensive blocks done, through the years constant battle with sinuses, brochitis and pneumonia. In 99 an xray showed PF, but was just dropped there. Started having problems breathing and finally when couldn't do that much with grandchildren i told my doc wanted to see pulmonologist. Well, after the cat scan i was admitted immediately for a biopsy, where my surgeon also took a large amount of the base of my right lung off. I was sent to Temple then and evaluated for transplant and continue to be watched but too healthy.. Have developed PMH (controlled with revatio) and they believe that it all stems from my immune system and that i have scleroderma. that brings me to here. i have dealing with this on my own and i wish we didn't need the group but i am so glad for the support.patti > > > > going to transplant doc today, gp next monday, pulmonary next > wednesday > > > > Pink Joyce IPF 3/06 Pennsylvania > > > > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG - http://www.avg. com > Version: 8.0.175 / Virus Database: 270.8.6/1765 - Release Date: 11/3/2008 4:59 PM >
