Guest guest
After today, we had a serious wake up call about getting prepared, I have to finish up the hospital gowns & get his hospital quilt done...eeks busy busy (and to think we have Harry Potter Imax 3D tickets for Sat. too!) is 6'10 " tall, so standard hospital gowns don't exactly add a whole lot to " covering " him, they barely hang below the bum.I found this free pattern for you crafty sewers out there, I have modified it to hang just below his knees, and there is plenty of room, I am still working on making the neck comfortable to him, but I guess I will be sewing this weekend lol. http://www.lazygirldesigns.com/hospitalgown.phpI just thought I would share in case anyone else has had/have issues with hospital issued gowns. in Texas Brother, , 31, UC & PSC
Guest guest
Hi, my biggest issue with gowns is they just don't fit and unless you are an octopus, not enough hands to keep things from falling out. I have found that if I buy a sleeveless gown at a store, then take the shoulder apart and put velcro in there, they are fabulous for changing while hooked up to all those iv's and other gadgets.
