Guest guest
In the latter portion of his pre-transplant timeline, Jim absolutely did experience this -- perhaps not constant chills, but he pretty much always felt cold to his core. His " normal " body temperature was below the 98.6 " norm " as well. 100% of the time while home, he'd dress in sweats (even in sunny weather). He'd even " sun " himself indoors, resting or reading the paper sitting wherever the sun would shine through our (UV treated) windows... anything to feel even a little less cold. His fingers were pretty liberal with the heating thermostat on this all-electric home, too (despite SDG & E boasting some of the nastiest energy prices America!) After tx, back Jim went to what we'd all consider, uhh, " normal normal. " And now we've resumed not heating our home (good thing we're Californians!) Maureen (wife of Jim: UC '84, PSC '96, living related Tx '01) Does anyone out there have chills all the time everyday? I should clarify, this is usually inside the air conditioned house, not out in the hot Georgia sun! It seems like I am always cold even when I am not running a fever. Is this noraml with PSC? Does it mean the disease is progressing? Just wanted to see what is typical for everyone else. Thanks, PSC '04, Breast Cancer '07, Married with 1 adorable 4 1/2 year old son
