Guest guest
Hi, I am a 63 yr old female with Normal Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, I live in Hawaii (Oahu) and would very much like to get in touch with someone in Hawaii who also has the disease. I am all alone and have very minimal support. Of course contact from anyone, anywhere would also be most welcome. I was diagnosed Aug 2007, am now on O2 24/7. Thank you. Guest guest
Marbre, Hate that you had to find us, but you have found a really good group of people. I don't know of anyone with this lousy, horrid monster from Hawai'i. But there are great people from all over the country and the world for that matter in this group. And all are extremely giving and compassionate. You are in a good place when you are here. I was stationed at Pearl Harbor back in the late 70's and early 80's. Rode submarines out of Pearl. Go Navy! What I wouldn't do for some good manapua! haha! Holler if you need anything. Guest guest
Hi Wally, Thanks for your reply and a good report on the group. I see I must be more careful about my spelling of Hawai'i - good for you!! If I can find a way to send you some Manapua, I certainly would do so. I am originally from the UK and since I was a flight attendant could go back and forth all the time, now I would love to be able to go for some fish and chips (somehow I think Manapua would travel better than fish and chips!). Of course I crave food from all over the world, I'm just very thankful I had the job and didn't have to put off travelling until I was old. I'm sure you can relate having been a Navy man.
