Guest guest
Some of us, me included, have learned the hard way to be more aggressive in seeking appropriate care. Chills may well be a sign of an infection or a blockage causing an infection. I had chills and fevers every day for over three months before we finally discovered during a PTC that I had several peanut-sized fungal masses in my biliary system due to long term antibiotic use. I was on high dose sulfa to try to stamp out a nosocomial infection from an ERCP. I think that most of us learn to "read" our bodies and to know what is normal for us. If you think that something is wrong, trust your gut -- pun intended. See your doctor(s), ask questions and ask for solutions. I suffered needlessly because no one knew that I would be the extremely rare patient to have this complication. Penny
