Guest guest
For the Northeast get together. Could be interested. Depends on day and place. Just let me know what ya'll decide as to when and where. Several upcoming doc appts. Have been working, again, since Aug 20 (with time off for a 3 day visit to the Big House for URI) and an ER visit for cellulitis in my leg. Luckily not MRSA. Anyway, I am totally out of time off days. In fact, at this point I owe the company days and as I accrue more need to bank some for the holidays and potential bad days. Am meeting with my boss and HR on Monday to discuss, what we can do to to make working easier. Of course the American's with Disabilities Act requires them to work with me, but my boss and my HR person genuinely are interested in my well being. I covered for my boss several years ago when she was on short term disability for colon cancer. So she knows what it is like. Besides, I have been with the company for 32 years so I know where all the bodies are buried (lol). Any thoughts or suggestions on things that the company could and should do so I can continue to work, be productive and yet not open me to more negatives with my PF? I do have the option of working from home using a VPN link to the office. However, I do need and prefer face time in the office regularly. I am not on O2, yet (should I even say that or is it considered bad karma?) and pretty mobile, except for when my joints are acting up from the arthritis. I do have a PD Tag so I get to park in close by parking at the front door. (mostly for a fast getaway in the afternoon. Of course, if there are meetings and folks are coughing and sneezing I should not be around them. But, on the other hand, viruses usually start to shed and get released in high numbers before people even know they are sick. Any suggestions will be welcome. tom from PA ps A co-worker (who used to report to me) has Sarcoidosis with PF. So, we compare notes on a regular basis. He has significant pain from the sarcoid and has an implanted morphine pump. He has left the building by ambulance about 3 times, but is holding his own right now. He sees a pulmonolgist at Drexel. > > > > > > > > going to transplant doc today, gp next monday, pulmonary next > > > wednesday > > > > > > > > Pink Joyce IPF 3/06 Pennsylvania > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > > > Checked by AVG - http://www.avg. <http://www.avg./> com > > > Version: 8.0.175 / Virus Database: 270.8.6/1765 - Release Date: > > 11/3/2008 4:59 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > >------------------------------------------------------------------- ----- > > > > > >No virus found in this incoming message. > >Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com > >Version: 8.0.175 / Virus Database: 270.9.0/1775 - Release Date: 11/8/2008 9:56 AM > > > > > > >
