Patti,

I am having a problem with Flushing or hot flashes again. They started a few months after I first began taking prednisone, lasted about 8 months, disappeared for 6 or 7 and now they are back! I can't figure out why they are suddenly worse but I notice they usually come about 20 minutes after eating, when I talk too much or too long and early in the morning when I first wake up. They are making me crazy. I have a feeling they are tied into blood sugar but have no clue what to do about them. If you have any ideas let me know- R. (52) Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 Carlsbad, California

haven't noticed with the other times. I'll need to pay attention. i

just kind of bare it..my face gets bright red..last for a short

time. But if you thinks it your sugar which is possible.. There was

a short period of time i had lo blood sugar symptoms and got a

glucometer to check it;thought all of a sudden it might be the

prednisone and it was short lived it was the prednisone and

infection causing my sugar issues.. Patti
