Guest guest Posted November 13, 2008 Report Share Posted November 13, 2008 Just in case I was bored, I woke up this morning with something entirely new. A dark red discoloration on my eyelids... My vision is normal, my eyelids are kind of burny and sore but mostly just discolored. Very very attractive. I was just browsing around the internet and this can be a symptom of dermatomyositis among other things so I suppose this just lends support to the undifferentiated connective tissue disease diagnosis. I'm wondering though if I'm moving closer to a diagnosis of something specific like dermatomyositis. Before you all ask I did call the doctor this morning, and since I'm going to be seen in less than two weeks we're going to wait for that unless I perceive my condition to be worsening in any way. He was happy to be alerted to this new symptom however and is ordering more bloodwork to be done when I have my appointment. So that's my excitement for the day.
