Guest guest Posted September 5, 2002 Report Share Posted September 5, 2002 Hi Group, Just had follow-up appt with NS,and he still feels all my symptoms are not related to my Chiari w/syrinx at C-7. My MRI studies showed no change in size of syrinx or herniation 9mm from 6 months ago. I do have lumbar spinal stenosis at L4-L5, and my NS feels my leg weakness is probably from that and suggested surgery. He wants to do a lumbar myelegram to check how tight the compression is at L4-L5 before he does the surgery. Anyone ever have one of these? My concern is that this diagnostic test involves an injection to my lumbar and am concerned with complications to my chiari and syrinx.
