Guest guest
Yes, I am considering that as soon as I can get to a derm. I did locate Dr. Bocachica, M.D. as the Director of the Dematology part of Loma University. I hope he works out. I met him once at my current derms office but they wouldn't tell me where he was from. He actually changed my rx from MetroLotion to Noritate. Another derm there switched me to MetroGel. It is really scary when several doctors each have a different opinion at the same office. I do think it's burning me, the MetroGel. I was tempted last night to use the Noritate, but I have been getting more and more of those tiny pore sized pustules I think they are called and I'm afraid to break out even more. I am better and worse in the span of a few minutes to hours to days. This change over the weekend, with no triggers that I can find, of course, has been dumbfounded. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you for caring! *** Perhaps you should switch to the cream, it's still oil-free. Sounds like the gel isn't working well for you. If your skin is getting dark and patchy, you could be very well burning you skin. Have you found a better derma yet? I've been using the gel and find it is a bit drying--To counterbalace the effects, I use a creamier cleaner and more moisturizer (oil-free, since I tend to be a bit oily.) But I have't had any discoloration or hyperpigmentation from it.
Guest guest
Hi Rita, Metrogel made my face burn terribly! I was so naiive about rosacea while I was using it that I figured if it could cause such an intense reaction on my skin, maybe it was doing some good, and I continued using it until I found out better! I had more luck when I switched to Noritate. Good luck, Jen
