Vitamin D

Reading the Myositis forum, I found out that I was far from alone in

having low Vitamin D. For some reason this is something not checked by

many doctors. Mine was first checked by my nephrologist and was 9 (vs a

normal of 32-100). I went on 50,000 i.u. once a week and was recently

rechecked and was 60, so now have been lowered to once per month. Its an

easy item to add to your next labs if its not on previous ones.
