Guest guest
Patti With MedicAlert just limited most critical information is put on the bracelet itself. The key is the number they dial to obtain all your medical information. This can be faxed to the ER. Also, your family can be notified. This basic service is $39.95 the first year and $25.00 each year thereafter. The bracelets start at $19.95. They also offer additional programs up to and including one that allows storage of all your medical files and records with them. http://www.medicalert.org/home/Homegradient.aspx--- In Breathe-Support , "friend.patti" wrote:>> MB> great info; have been questioning if i should have one, what to put > on it etc. I also have len implants does that go on there.. egads.. > i look at the medic bracelets and how small and what is imp to go on > there.. thanks again . Guest guest
Another company that I know little about is Americanmedical-id.com and there is medids.com and I'm sure others. Another thing one can add for protection in this age of technology is a flash drive with all records attached to your key chain. Just still need some means of making them look for it and access it. I wouldn't suggest this in lieu of anything but perhaps in addition to. For instance my medical records of just the past 18 months is around 200 pages of documents and this is an easy way to have them. I do carry a copy of them all in my van as well as copies of legal documents needed. > > > > > > From: Bruce Moreland <brucemoreland@ gmail.com> > > > Subject: Texas Driver's License > > > To: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. com > > > Date: Monday, November 24, 2008, 2:31 PM > > > > > > > > > There have been some interesting changes made.
